I'm no marketing guru, but don't buy Google stock. Wait until it has a P/E ratio down around 40 or 50. It might be an ok buy now, but it's a risky buy. If/when it's ever at 40 or 50, it'll be a killer buy.

If ever a stock was overvalued...
435 a share??? Come ON!! get serious.... a company that has no history yet of paying dividends... bah, some people are going to lose their shirts again when google shares fall back down from mystical fantasy land where they are now.
And according to yahoo's analysts, it's still listed as a moderate buy?!?!?!?!
Madness.

Some people are saying to sell it when it reaches $800 per share.
It's got a P/E ratio of 90, which is excessive. It's people who see the stock going up and are buying it for shorter term investment (atleast, those are the ones with any plan). I'm waiting for them to wake up from their dream world, the stock crashes like Qualcomm did in '99 (from $300 to $3), and then buy like crazy.

Well, they've taken a big hit in the last week or two. Back down below 400 as of market close today... still seems incredibly overvalued... I agree that anyone who is actually buying at these prices must be involved in some risky speculation... also, I doubt this whole google.cn thing has done anything to help their share prices.

This google.cn thing might be the little bit that wakes up people from their year-long boom-dreaming stuper.
I think the stock has some value for growth, but there isn't as much of an earnings basis for that price. Right now I consider anyone who buys google stock to be little more than a day trader. It might go up, and it might go down in a short time span.
